Bank Al Jazira HQ: Landmark Corporate Headquarters in Riyadh progressing on site

Construction is progressing on site to deliver a new corporate headquarters for Bank Al Jazira in Riyadh, KSA. This landmark HQ will set a new benchmark for corporate workplaces in Riyadh, combining cutting-edge design with environmental responsibility.

Chapman Taylor’s competition-winning design is set to create a modern, high-quality corporate business hub with a distinctive architectural identity. Located on a prominent corner of King Fahad Road, the development will provide a dynamic and modern workplace tailored for efficiency, sustainability, and employee well-being.

The fifteen-storey office block will accommodate 7,790m² of office space with a range of staff amenities, including a gym, dining room, prayer spaces and an array of spectacular, green external terraces offering panoramic views of downtown Riyadh. A linked four-storey car park and basement will accommodate c.300 vehicles, ensuring sheltered, safe and seamless access for staff and visitors.

A defining feature of the design is the undulating bronze soffit in the entrance hall, which seamlessly transitions through the building to form a sculpted sunscreen for vehicles on the top level of the car park, creating a cohesive and striking visual identity for the building. Sustainability is integral to the project, with integrated solar shading, a naturally ventilated car park, photovoltaic panels, and planted terraces, exceeding the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative 2030.
