CEE Director Jon Hale speaks at key Ukrainian retail conference

Chapman Taylor CEE Director, Jon Hale, was recently invited to speak at the Retail & Development Business Summit held by the Ukrainian Retail Association in Kiev. Jon spoke about the River Mall development, for which Chapman Taylor, working alongside Archpassage architects of Kiev, provided concept consultancy and interior design services.

River Mall shopping centre will total 136,000m² GBA and provide 60,000m²  of leasable area. The centre is located on the banks of the Dnieper River along Dniprovska Naberezna Street directly adjacent to one of the key densely populated residential neighbourhoods of Kiev. In addition to retail and F&B, the complex also contains an office building and an open-air waterpark. The first floor south and west-facing restaurant terraces will provide fantastic views across the Dnieper towards the city centre.

The centre will house new retail brands, a hypermarket, an entertainment zone, a cinema with 10 screens plus an IMAX theatre, diverse food offerings and a 1,500-space multi-level car park. A new boat wharf will also serve the complex.
