Chapman Taylor designs a new hospitality, residential, leisure development near Paris
Our design for a 15,000m2 golf course-related scheme proposes a luxury, 130-room Hyatt Regency hotel and 38 associated resort villas, providing a total of 215 beds, set within lush woods. The hospitality functions also include a large spa, two swimming pools, sports facilities, a gym and a conference centre, all served by a 200-space car park.
The building designs make extensive use of natural materials such as stone and timber which, combined with extensive glazing, help to provide visual continuity between the interior and exterior spaces.
The resort’s ecologically sustainable design makes provision for the planting of over 1,000 trees and a beautiful landscaping scheme which perfectly complements the surrounding countryside setting, providing relaxing and inspiring spaces for visitors. Large sculptures of deer in the hotel grounds act as an emblematic reference to the local fauna.
