Chapman Taylor involved in regenerating key residential site in Bristol for the ‘Build-to-Rent’ market

Chapman Taylor, supporting Linkcity/Bouygues UK, has recently submitted a planning application to Bristol City Council to regenerate the former Bristol Central Ambulance site at Castle Park.

Castle Park View will regenerate a brownfield site in a unique location, providing a high-quality residential development delivering some of the first dedicated Built-to-Rent homes in the city centre. It will provide 375 new homes, through a mixture of Build-to-Rent and affordable dwellings.

A 26-storey tower and a 10-storey block will book-end the scheme, with a building connecting the two and providing frontage to the park. The active frontage includes a 420m² convenience store, a 24/7 concierge reception and leisure facilities for the building’s residents.

The strong built form along the northern boundary will be reminiscent of the old castle wall which once stood on the site. The scheme takes advantage of the site’s proximity to the city centre and nearby floating harbour to create a landscaped and desirable place to live within Bristol.
