Chapman Taylor talks about its Smart Cities experience at key Bangkok conferences
Chapman Taylor is pleased to have been able to take part in two key recent events in Bangkok, Thailand, where we spoke about the design and implementation of Smart Cities.
Board Director Chris Lanksbury gave well-received talks on the subject at both the Thai-UK Business Leadership Council (hosted by PTT Group) and the Digital Thailand Big Bang event. At the former, Chris spoke about Chapman Taylor’s significant experience in designing and building smart cities across the globe, while at the latter he spoke about how to prepare cities for such developments.
Smart Cities are areas designed using data and technology to enhance the experience of people working and living in them. New technologies are integrated in a way which increases productivity, liveability and sustainability and produces a highly efficient and integrated urban ecosystem.
Among many examples of Chapman Taylor’s work on Smart Cities, we designed the award-winning MediaCityUK development in Manchester, Shanghai Media City and East Kidwai Nagar in New Delhi (showcased by the Indian government as a template for other smart city developments in the country). We are currently working on some relevant developments in central Bangkok.
