Chapman Taylor to attend and speak at the World Urban Forum in Cairo 4-8 November
Chapman Taylor will participate in the World Urban Forum (WUF12) from November 4th to 8th at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo.
This year, Chapman Taylor will be represented by Group Board Director Adrian Griffiths and Director Marcelina Zielinska. The Azerbaijani government has invited Marcelina to speak on a panel.
Established in 2001 by the United Nations, the World Urban Forum addresses one of today's most pressing issues: rapid urbanisation and its impact on communities, cities, economies, climate change, and policies. Convened by UN-Habitat, the Forum serves as a high-level, open, and inclusive platform for tackling the challenges of sustainable urbanisation.
WUF12 will focus on localising the Sustainable Development Goals, highlighting local actions and initiatives needed to address pressing global challenges such as unaffordable housing, rising living costs, climate change, lack of essential services, and ongoing conflicts.
Attended by c14,000 people from c175 countries, to register for WUF12, click here.
