Chapman Taylor to attend key Spanish retail conference on 3-5 October
Members of Chapman Taylor’s Madrid studio will be in attendance at the AECC Spanish Shopping Centres and Retail Parks Congress, which takes place on 3-5 October at the Palacio de Congresos in Granada.
Managing Director Mikel Barriola, Associate Director Carlo Bassi, Design Architect and Planner Jorge Alonso Rodríguez and Marketing Manager Carmen Johnston will be representing Chapman Taylor at this important fixture in the Spanish retail industry calendar. The team will be based at Stand 21.
The event, now in its 16th year, brings together key figures and businesses from across the Spanish and Portuguese retail sectors to discuss developments in the industry in Iberia and beyond. The theme for this year’s conference is “Shopping Centres 4.0”, looking at the way ahead for retail by discussing what are described as the basic pillars for success: spaces, people, e-commerce and big data. Jorge will be acting as moderator of a round-table panel discussion of experts on the ‘spaces’ pillar.
