Chapman Taylor’s £5.5 billion Liverpool Waters scheme is granted planning approval
On the 4th March 2013, Government secretary Eric Pickles granted planning approval for the £5.5 billion Liverpool Waters scheme, by confirming that he will not call for a public enquiry into Peel's ambitious dockside redevelopment.
The 60 hectare site has been masterplanned to provide in excess of 17 million sq ft of mixed-use space, including 14,000 houses, offices, local retailing and community uses.
The project will be underpinned by attracting inward investment and will create many jobs for the people of Liverpool.
