Chapman Taylor's new interior design for Krungthai Bank in Bangkok, Thailand
The new interiors at Krungthai Bank in Bangkok are now complete. Chapman Taylor’s Bangkok studio has completely transformed the office space for this Thai bank’s head office, situated on the 2nd and 7th floor of a large central building.
Versatile and vibrant spaces created for workers to enjoy include a recreation room, relaxation area, co-working space, reception area, boardroom and executive lounge. Meeting rooms are themed around different colours and are eye-catching and exciting spaces to inhabit during a working day.
Plantlife abounds throughout the workplace. Studies have shown that house plants improve concentration and productivity by up to 15%, reduce stress levels and boost mood. Within a 24-hour period, plants can reduce air toxins by up to 87%.
The 2nd floor has a theme of “growing together” and uses a playful colour scheme. The 7th floor is a calmer, higher-class experience. Open spaces are used effectively throughout and workstation sizes have been increased. A bottle recycling machine is available which encourages green habits by paying people to recycle their empties.
