Chapman Taylor’s Shanghai studio wins ICSC retail award

The Chapman Taylor project, Vanke Qibao Sports Zone, has been awarded a Gold Award for New Retail Design at the 2017 ICSC China Retail Summit in Shanghai. Sports Zone is an entertainment-led project located at the top of Vanke Mall Shopping Centre in the Qibao district of Shanghai, China. It consists of 5,000m² of sport activities including an NBA basketball half court, a suspended roller skating track, and a ‘9A’ Climbing Wall. The facilities are surrounded by major sports brand tenants such as Nike and Adidas, as well as healthy F&B offers. Other tenants include a gym, a bowling alley, and many more sports equipment retailers.
