Chapman Taylor’s Tom Klingholz to speak at MRI Build-to-Rent Seminar in London on 25 October
Chapman Taylor’s Tom Klingholz will be the keynote speaker at the MRI Build-to-Rent seminar on Thursday 25 October.
Tom will be speaking on the subject of “Build-to-Rent: A new template for suburban communal living”, expanding on themes explored in his Insight paper on the topic, where he wrote about designing a prototype for a Build-to-Rent community in a suburban location, with particular reference to the challenges involved and the design principles which informed the project.
The seminar, the topic of which is “Technology in Build-to-Rent: A guide to success”, will take place from 3.30pm to 7pm at the rooftop events space at Hotel Indigo, 1 Leicester Square, London. Tom is scheduled to speak at 4pm, followed by speakers from Savills and MRI Software.
Tom has designed award-winning schemes both in the UK and overseas and, with over 20 years’ design experience in the residential sector, he leads Chapman Taylor’s UK Residential team, overseeing the design of residential-led mixed-use projects and masterplans.
Chapman Taylor is expanding its residential portfolio across the United Kingdom, with a number of Build-to-Rent schemes. We are also leading the way in innovative off-site design and construction methods, which is one solution in helping combat the UK’s housing crisis.
