Chapman Taylor’s UK Executive Group AGM 2022
Chapman Taylor’s UK Executive Group held its annual AGM in Bristol on Friday 8th of April, with 24 people in attendance.
Our Executive Group is a group of Senior Architects and Designers from across our three UK Studios, responsible for organising inter-studio activities, design competitions, and social, well-being, charity and creative activity events to help foster studio culture. The group also oversees Chapman Taylor’s learning and continuous professional development programme.
At the AGM, the first in-person meeting since before the pandemic, the group reviewed the previous year's activities and discussed new plans for the year ahead. These include a charity hike, design competitions, life drawing classes, face-to-face-social gatherings and the annual Gingerbread City competition.
Chapman Taylor designed and delivered Castle Park View in Bristol
The day after the AGM the attendees took a trip on a narrowboat around Bristol Harbour. They then enjoyed a tour of one of our newest schemes in Bristol, Castle Park View which provides 375 mostly Build-to-Rent homes, within a structure bookended by a 26-storey tower and a 10-storey block.
The Executive Group provides a potential springboard to further promotions at Chapman Taylor. Since January 2022, eleven people from all three UK studios have been promoted to the UK Executive Group to strengthen and reinforce the importance of our Studio culture, well-being and learning programmes.
