Congratulations to Loughborough University LU-Arc Design Award Winners 2024

We were delighted to award prizes at the Loughborough University (LU-Arc) end-of-year show on 19th June as part of our London Studio’s sponsorship. The annual event is a celebration of LU-Arc students' work and brings a fresh perspective with student-curated exhibits showcasing the talent and creativity of future architects.

Alice Violet Ball for "The Garden Rooms" and Sohaib Khokhar for "Towards Syncretism."

Chapman Taylor sponsored a prize for Innovative Design Research, specifically for Year 1 MArch students. The high standard of work on display made selecting a single outright winner challenging, so we split the prize between two students: Alice Violet Ball for "The Garden Rooms" and Sohaib Khokhar for "Towards Syncretism." Although very different in architectural style and graphic presentation, both projects were beautifully crafted, meticulously analysed, and visually delightful.

The awards were presented by Ben Ghibaldan and Sam Castling, Associate Directors at Chapman Taylor.

Congratulations to the winners and all the students for the fantastic work showcased!
