Construction set to begin on dnata City East air cargo warehouse at Heathrow, UK
Construction is due to begin on the dnata City East air cargo warehouse at Heathrow on Monday 26 November.
The project redevelops and extends a site adjacent to Heathrow Airport. The development comprises a 22,914m² air cargo logistics facility and a split-level multi-storey car park, external works and security facilities, complementing dnata’s existing facilities in the area.
The land, strategically well-located opposite the Heathrow Cargo Terminal and beside the Southern Perimeter Road, is adjacent to a scheduled ancient monument and site of archaeological importance, which has required extensive site investigation, negotiation and design integration.
