Retail:Construction starts on Chapman Taylor’s Shopping and Leisure Centre in Spain’s Canary Islands

Work on a new shopping complex for the island Gran Canaria designed and delivered by Chapman Taylor Madrid has commenced. The contemporary Tamaraceite Shopping and Leisure Centre is situated in the north of the island and near the capital Las Palmas and will consist of two levels of retail, bars and leisure facilities over 63,000 m² with a vast underground parking area for 2500 vehicles.

Chapman Taylor’s Madrid studio has previously designed a shopping centre El Muelle de Santa Catalina on the same island as well as a building in Tenerife.

The project is due for completion in 2016
