Feierliche Grundsteinlegung für das Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier in Hamburg

The foundation stone of Hamburg's largest current construction project, the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier at HafenCity, was ceremonially laid on 22 May.

The ceremony was attended by investor Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and representatives of all the companies involved in the project, as well as by politicians, urban developers and members of the public. Chapman Taylor is responsible for the interior and executive design of the scheme’s flagship cinema.

Am 22. Mai fand die feierliche Grundsteinlegung für das aktuell größte Bauvorhaben in Hamburg, das Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier in der HafenCity im Beisein von Investor Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, Vertretern aller am Projekt beteiligten Unternehmen sowie Verantwortlichen aus Politik und Stadtentwicklung statt.

Chapman Taylor Düsseldorf zeichnet für das Interior Design und die Ausführungsplanung des am Projekt beteiligten Flagship-Kinos verantwortlich.

The new, 419,000 m² urban district will be a cosmopolitan, open and vibrant quarter in the heart of HafenCity, connecting the historic inner city with the banks of the Elbe.

The ambitious and innovative project creates a new district of 14 buildings, combining 650 residential apartments, offices for more than 4,000 workers and three hotels with entertainment, leisure, restaurants and retail facilities, a cruise terminal with an underground bus station and the flagship cinema being designed (interior and executive design) by our Düsseldorf studio.

The Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier project is expected to complete in 2022.

Im neuen Quartier im Herzen der HafenCity entsteht auf einer Gesamtfläche von 419.000 m² ein kosmopolitischer, offener und urbaner Stadtteil, der die historische innere Stadt mit dem Elbufer verbindet.

Das ambitionierte und innovative Projekt umfasst 14 Einzelgebäude. Sie beherbergen neben 650 Wohnungen, Büros mit mehr als 4.000 Arbeitsplätzen, drei Hotels, diverse Gastronomie-, Einkaufs- und Entertainmentangebote, ein Kreuzfahrt-Terminal mit unterirdischem Busbahnhof sowie ein Flagship-Kino, für dessen Interior Design und Ausführungsplanung unser Düsseldorfer Büro zuständig ist.

Die Fertigstellung des gesamten Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartiers ist für 2022 geplant.
