With many confidential projects being designed by Chapman Taylor in the region, here is a look at four projects currently taking shape in the Middle East, all set to become key landmarks in their respective cities.
Enar, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Design concept stage)

A luxurious, mixed-use development poised to redefine urban living in Riyadh.
Enar is a refined and upscale residential mixed-use development in Riyadh, masterplanned by Chapman Taylor over a 250,000m² site with a total built-up area of 750,000m². Currently in the concept design stage, the project envisions a vibrant and tranquil new district that seamlessly blends luxurious living with premium commercial and lifestyle amenities.
The development offers a diverse range of high-quality homes, from elegant apartments to contemporary villas, alongside commercial office space and a carefully curated selection of international retail brands, restaurants, and cafés. At its core, a lush central park with a flowing water canal, tree-lined walkways, and quiet seating areas creates a welcoming green heart for residents and visitors.
With architecture that harmonises traditional Saudi influences and modern design principles, Enar aspires to redefine community living in the capital and become a benchmark for integrated urban development in the region.
Saadiyat Beach District Residences, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Under construction)

A world-class waterfront community, which blends luxury living with the island’s natural beauty.
Located on Abu Dhabi’s prestigious Saadiyat Island, the under construction Saadiyat Beach District Residences is a world-class waterfront development designed by Chapman Taylor. Spanning 146,714m², the project offers a refined blend of luxury living and natural beauty as part of the broader Saadiyat Island Masterplan for Nael & Bin Harmel.
This vibrant residential community will feature an elegant mix of luxury apartments, townhouses, and villas, all centred around 14,000m² of community-focused retail space for dining, shopping, and leisure. The design draws inspiration from contemporary Islamic architecture while remaining closely connected to the island’s pristine coastal landscape, including white sandy beaches and nearby mangroves.
Emphasising wellness, connectivity, and high-end amenities, the Saadiyat Beach District is set to become a premier residential destination—offering a serene, sophisticated lifestyle on one of the UAE’s most sought-after islands.
Madinah Hub, Madinah, Saudi Arabia (Under construction)

An exciting mixed-use urban district for a major Saudi city.
With construction well advanced, Madinah Hub is a landmark 392,000m² mixed-use development designed by Chapman Taylor, forming the vibrant retail, leisure, and hospitality heart of one of the largest tourism initiatives in Madinah—one of the world’s top 25 visitor destinations. Currently under construction, the development is just 6km from the Prophet’s Mosque and directly connected to the Haramain high-speed rail network, positioning it as a key gateway for millions of pilgrims and tourists.
At its centre, a 129,000m² shopping and entertainment destination offers an immersive experience through a series of glass-covered atria and pedestrian-friendly streets lined with shops, cafés, restaurants, cinemas, wellness facilities, and family attractions. A central civic square and an open-air restaurant boulevard provide welcoming spaces for events, gatherings, and outdoor dining.
Two landmark towers house a 350-key, 5-Star Hilton hotel and 65 branded residences, featuring luxurious interiors and architecture inspired by traditional Saudi design elements such as mashrabiya screens. The hotel includes state-of-the-art amenities, a rooftop restaurant, and a 500-capacity ballroom, with the towers serving as signature icons within the wider masterplan.
Porta Jeddah, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (Under construction)

An innovative mixed-use development set to become an iconic landmark in the city.
Porta Jeddah is a striking 123,000m² GBA mixed-use development designed by Chapman Taylor and currently under construction in the heart of Jeddah. Envisioned as a vibrant new urban destination, the project combines retail, dining, leisure, hospitality, and workplace spaces in a setting deeply rooted in the city’s cultural identity.
Anchored by a dynamic central plaza, Porta Jeddah unfolds as a journey through a series of themed outdoor spaces—each inspired by iconic elements of Jeddah’s heritage, from the Makkah Gate and Al Balad to the old port and palace gardens. Visitors can explore the garden plaza’s al fresco dining spots, enjoy interactive features at the water plaza, and engage with curated events at the entertainment plaza’s amphitheatre.
The development will also feature a 183-key lifestyle hotel, 53 serviced apartments, and a range of workspaces, offering a complete urban experience for residents, travellers, and locals alike. A signature architectural gateway will frame the central plaza, establishing Porta Jeddah as a powerful new landmark that celebrates the spirit and diversity of the city.
