Groundbreaking ceremony takes place at new Johnson Matthey catalyst plant in Gliwice, Poland
A groundbreaking ceremony has taken place to mark the beginning of construction of a new 23,000m² industrial complex for Johnson Matthey, a chemicals and sustainable technology specialist manufacturer, designed by Chapman Taylor’s Warsaw Studio.
Representatives of the London Stock Exchange-registered Johnson Matthey celebrated the start of work on the new production plant on 23 July. The ceremony was also attended by representatives of Clean Air, GBPBP and SKANSKA, along with Associate Directors Mariusz Wróblewski and Witold Nowakowski, from Chapman Taylor’s Warsaw Studio.
The factory, located in the Katowice Special Economic Zone, is set to begin operating in mid-2019, and will produce catalysts for various types of car engines.
