Hotel Indigo interior design concept
Our design team developed unique themes that drew inspiration from Coventry's local heritage and rich history of innovation to provide a narrative for the guestrooms and public spaces. Each narrative was whimsically interpreted, like finding the ‘Elephant in the Room’ (the elephant being a historic symbol for Coventry). References to Coventry's automobile industry and cycling heritage abound, ensuring guests discover something new on each visit.
The new Hotel Indigo Coventry is located in the heart of the city, opposite the Council’s new headquarters, which together form part of the wider Friargate business district masterplan, funded by a joint venture between Coventry City Council and Friargate LLP. The masterplan is a new entry point to the city from Coventry train station including the extended Greyfriars Green Park. It is expected to create new jobs and contribute to the economic growth of the area.
