Join us at the 2022 NEXT Façade Summit, 15th November

Chapman Taylor's Madrid studio will be represented at the 2022 International NEXT Façade Summit in Frankfurt, taking place on Tuesday 15th November. The event is also available to stream online.

At 4pm, Senior Project Architect and Façade design specialist Giuseppe La Ferla will be speaking about Chapman Taylor’s perspective and experience, joined by other experts from internationally active planning and architectural offices. Maria Jose Castillo and Alberto Muñoz, both senior architects from the Madrid Studio, will also attend the conference.

This year’s forum covers how future-oriented building envelopes and outstanding facade concepts can be planned and implemented in an international context.

Giuseppe La Ferla (M Arch POLITO, PhD ETSAM UPM)

Senior Project Architect and Façade design specialist

As a member of the Madrid studio, Giuseppe has more than 20 years of professional experience in the commercial, office, hospitality and residential sectors.

He joined Chapman Taylor in 2002, having supervised and coordinated project and site works in several projects in Spain and collaborated on projects in Qatar, Turkey, KSA among others.

He has worked on various teams within the studio and currently is the coordinator of the Technical Panel and a member of the Responsible Design group.

Giuseppe has been invited to lecture on the master's course at the University Polytechnic of Madrid and as a researcher at international universities, as well as collaborating on European Research Projects funded by the EU in the field of façade design and sustainability.

He is the author of several papers published in scientific journals and books and he participates regularly in conferences.
