Eltham scheme achieves planning approval

Chapman Taylor’s scheme for a new cinema and restaurant complex in the heart of Eltham has been given the green light for planning approval..

The proposal seeks to rejuvenate Eltham’s high street by introducing a new cinema along with a hub of restaurants and attracting visitors into the town centre during the evening.

Our design includes an iconic ‘Sky Bar’, with an external seating terrace, designed to wrap around the cinema, cantilevering and projecting animation onto the High Street and complementing the active street level restaurant uses below.

The rejuvenation of the town in the London Borough of Greenwich is part of the council’s focus on the regeneration of four key masterplan sites within the borough: Eltham town centre, Charlton Riverside, Greenwich Peninsula and Woolwich town centre.

Work will start onsite next year.
