Michael Swiszczowski appointed Director
We are delighted to announce that Michael Swiszczowski has been promoted to Director.
Michael joined Chapman Taylor in 2016, having studied architecture at the University of Sheffield and qualifying in 2011. Michael initially worked as a Senior Architect based in our Manchester studio, where he became a core member of our residential team, with the remit of helping to champion and develop our residential design capabilities.
He became an Associate Director in 2016 and has worked on several of our key residential projects at the early design stages, including Kampus, One Cutting Room Square and Sawmill Court.
Michael has been very active in promoting our residential expertise, particularly in the Build-to-Rent, student accommodation and business hotel typologies. He led the award-winning Holiday Inn Express modular hotel at Trafford City and is working closely with modular provider CIMC to help them develop their residential modular product for use in the Build-to-Rent market.
Working collaboratively across all three UK studios, Michael is a regular speaker at residential and off-site manufacture conferences, where he articulates Chapman Taylor’s residential design approach and skill-sets. He is committed to helping Chapman Taylor continue to strengthen and develop our design expertise across the residential and hospitality sectors, with the objective of winning new work.
Congratulations to Michael on this well-deserved promotion!
