Third office building completed at 'Airport City' in Dusseldorf, Germany

The recently completed "AirPark" building is the third office building – following “AirView” and “AirGate” designed by Chapman Taylor in association with AIP Planungs GmbH in Airport City, an 23 ha business park immediately next to Düsseldorf Airport, Germany’s third largest airport.

Located immediately next to an idyllic park, “AirPark” has 6 floors, with a GBA of 13,700 qm and 211 car parking spaces in a basement garage. The entrances are emphasized by a full-height glass façade with external projecting sun screens, behind which a double height foyer and conference rooms are located. The entrances are marked by a frame of dark stone, contrasting with the light beige stone panels and horizontal band windows of the main facades.

Chapman Taylor was responsible for concept design through to detail planning approval.
