Retail and Leisure: Ganjlik Mall, Azerbaijan’s largest shopping centre, to open in April
Finishing touches are being made at our project Ganjlik Mall in Baku ahead of its official opening in April.
This 50,000m² shopping and leisure destination is excellently located, to the north of the city centre, adjacent to the Tofiq Bahramov Football Stadium and has direct access from the busy Ganjlik metro and bus stations.
The mall contains a mix of international and local retail brands to appeal to a broad customer base. A range of dining and café’s are located on the upper level, with external terraces offering excellent city views. A multiplex cinema, bowling and family entertainment completes the leisure offer.
The shopping centre is arranged around a dramatic four storey central atrium that floods all areas of the mall with daylight. The facade addressing Fatali Khan Khoyski Boulevard is finished in an interlocking composition of warm sandstone cladding and cool glass with limestone “bookends” framing the corner entrances. Feature Chandeliers of handmade Czech glass are suspended within the double height entry spaces and an elegant wing-shaped canopy unifies all the elements of the main elevation.
Ganjlik Mall will open its doors on the 15th April of this year.
