Retail: Central Kladno shopping centre opens to the public in Czech Republic
On Friday 20th of March 2015, Central Kladno shopping centre, in Kladno, Czech Republic, opened its doors to the public. Designed by our studio in Prague, one of the leading international architectural practices present in the Czech Republic, this will most likely be the largest shopping centre to open in the country this year.
Central Kladno has over 100 retail units including restaurants and cafés, and contains over 26,000m² of lettable space which is already 95% leased. The developer is Crestyl, one of the leading retail and residential developers on the Czech market who invested CZK 1.5bn into the project.
The opening was attended by thousands of people and the centre was very well received by the shopping public. Feedback from industry professionals in the Czech Republic retail world has also been very positive.
The tenant mix includes H&M, C&A, Lindex, New Yorker, Reserved, Mohito, Sinsay, Cropp Town, Sportissimo, A3 Sport, Oresi and Neoluxor. An Albert hypermarket is anchoring the project.
Congratulations to the design team in our Prague studio for this achievement!
