Riedel Wine Bar & Cellar wins the ICSC Asia-Pacific 2017 Gold Award for Excellence in the ‘Retail Concepts’ category
The Award was collected by Oscar Martinez, Chapman Taylor's Director, South East Asia
Chapman Taylor is delighted to report that Riedel Wine Bar & Cellar in Bangkok has won the 2017 ICSC Asia-Pacific Gold Award for Excellence in the ‘Retail Concepts’ category. The ICSC Asia-Pacific Shopping Centre Awards honour outstanding achievement in the design and development of retail properties.
Riedel Wine Bar & Cellar was shortlisted alongside another Chapman Taylor-designed project, Mandarin Oriental Shops. The Bangkok projects made up two of the three nominations in this category, with the winners being announced on October 24th.
The ICSC Asia-Pacific Awards are among the most prestigious in the property awards calendar, taking place as part of this year’s RECon Asia-Pacific convention in Bangkok.
Set in one of Bangkok’s long-standing luxury malls, Riedel Wine Bar is the first bar and restaurant by the world-renowned Riedel glassware company. This high-profile project is a destination which balances functionality, Riedel brand-heritage and high-quality design.
Chapman Taylor was responsible for space planning and interior design, creating a series of different areas – a private room, a terrace, a retail area with wine-tasting corner and a restaurant with small bar and innovative ‘wine emotion’ machines.
"Mandarin Oriental Shops" was also awarded a ICSC diploma and commendation.
Congratulations to everyone involved in the design of Riedel Wine Bar & Cellar for this well-deserved award.
