Successful transition to remote working at our London studio
As the United Kingdom enters a period of rigorous restrictions on movement to help prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus, Chapman Taylor’s London studio is continuing to work on a diverse range of projects around the UK and internationally.
Although the studio’s various teams are working remotely, there has been a very smooth transition process, helping us to continue our work as seamlessly as possible in the difficult circumstances.
Our Residential team is currently busy working on the delivery of two major residential developments in London, which will provide hundreds of much-needed new homes, as well as continuing to work on a major mixed-use scheme in Eastern Europe.
The Transportation team continues to work on projects around the world, including the next phase of the Eurostar departures area reconfiguration at St Pancras International in London, several projects in and around Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, the delivery of Western Sydney Airport and the development of other key passenger hub designs. You can read about the team’s experiences of designing from home here.
Our International Feasibility team is creating concept designs on a range of projects across the globe, including large masterplans for new urban districts and resorts in Saudi Arabia and China.
The UK Feasibility team continues to work on urban regeneration projects across the UK, including the much-needed renewal of Coventry city centre.
Meanwhile, our Interiors team is designing a new R&D office complex in the East of England as well as a range of other residential, office, retail and leisure schemes.
The London studio, like all of Chapman Taylor’s studios, is fully equipped with the ability to continue its work and to provide our clients with industry-leading service. We will remain open and available to assist both existing and new clients, as well as partners and stakeholders, throughout the coming weeks.
