Transit-oriented masterplan for Ningbo Hub South Area development revealed

Chapman Taylor has developed the concept masterplan for the Ningbo Hub South transit-oriented development (TOD), a 1,270-hectare urban development designed to integrate transportation, city life, and industry into a future-proofed air-rail hub.

The project aims to connect Ningbo’s rail and air transport infrastructure seamlessly while enhancing urban livability, economic growth, and cultural identity.

The key objectives include:

  • Integrating transportation with the urban environment to maximize efficiency and value
  • Coordinating industrial planning to drive innovation and economic development
  • Creating a diverse and dynamic urban ecosystem, blending commercial, residential, and cultural spaces
