Ukraine: Prospect SEC Grand Opening Sat 6th Dec

Prospect SEC, had its grand opening on Saturday 6th December after a soft launch back in September. Given the economic and political instability in the country, Prospect SEC is the only shopping centre to open in the second half of the year, an achievement which Anna Chubotina, Head of Retail of JLL in Ukraine says has reaffirmed the high level of the project itself and the competence of the developer.

As one of the largest retail schemes on the left bank of the capital, it has 30,400 m²of gross leasable area plus an additional 11,000 m² reserved for Auchan hypermarket. It is designed for over 100 shops including the LPP group with 5 shops, a multiplex cinema, one of the biggest McDonalds restaurants in Kiev with an area of 700 m² and a round-the-clock McDrive zone, Foxtrot Household Appliances hypermarket, plus other international and national brand retailers. Already, occupancy at the centre stands at 80%.
