Hotel Indigo in Coventry opened to the public in January 2024.
Chapman Taylor designed the architecture and interiors for this upscale boutique hotel.
Our design was crafted to reflect Coventry's rich industrial heritage, while also providing guests with a contemporary and luxurious experience.
Design-led and story-inspired
The hotel was developed by Castlebridge Group, a property company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality, sustainable developments across the UK.
Hotel Indigo is a boutique hotel brand that is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). The brand is known for its unique design, personalised service, and locally inspired experiences. Each Hotel Indigo across the world is a celebration of its neighbourhood, telling the stories of its people, places and traditions.
Driving local growth
The new Hotel Indigo Coventry is located in the heart of the city, opposite the Council’s new headquarters, which together form part of the wider Friargate business district masterplan, funded by a joint venture between Coventry City Council and Friargate LLP. The masterplan is a new entry point to the city from Coventry train station including the extended Greyfriars Green Park. The hotel actively contributes towards the economic growth of the area.
