Architect Catalina Ionita speaking at CounterArchitecture event 24th March in London

Architect Catalina Ionita is speaking at the ‘Repurposing Places for Social and Environmental Resilience’ International Conference, held by CounterArchitecture.

The event is taking place on the 23rd and 24th March at Arup’s offices, 8 Fitzroy St, London W1T 4BJ. Catalina’s talk on the 24^th will be a presentation of her PhD research work as part of Topic 3: New approaches to participation and mapping, in the context of architecture, arts, urbanism and social sciences.

This international conference bridges academia and practice, linking in-practice experience to academic knowledge and theory. It is often argued that environmental resilience = social resilience. This conference aims to investigate further the complex relationship between the two.
