Awards: MediaCityUK makes the shortlist for the MIPIM UK 2015 Awards

The multi award winning regeneration scheme, MediaCityUK in Manchester has been shortlisted at the forthcoming MIPIM UK Awards on October 22nd  for Best Regeneration Project.

The ambitious waterside development from Peel, with Phase 1 delivered and masterplanned by Chapman Taylor, has completely transformed the Salford Quays landscape and currently continues to evolve with the ongoing masterplan. 

MediaCityUK has outstanding green credentials and was  the first development in the world to obtain BREEAM Sustainable Community status.

The MIPIM UK Awards, now in their second year, celebrate the work of the construction industry and reward those working to revitalise cities and towns across the UK.

The winners will be announced in London on 22 October during the Mipim UK conference and exhibition for property professionals.

Chapman Taylor are currently working on two schemes as part of the MediaCItyUK expansion, the 'Tomorrow' project, which will be home to creative and media office spaces and a 112-bed hotel and The Regent building, which is set to become the new HQ for healthcare company BupaUK.
