Building Permission granted for Kupiec Poznański mixed-use complex in Poznań, Poland
Building Permission has been granted for the remodelling of the Kupiec Poznański mixed-use complex in the Polish city of Poznań.
Chapman Taylor’s attractive and contemporary redesign includes the incorporation of a new 4-Star Marriott-branded hotel into the existing building, the reconfiguration of office and retail spaces and the refreshment of common areas.
The hotel, which will be incorporated into the building’s west wing, will offer 150 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and conference/multipurpose facilities for use by Poznań’s thriving business convention sector.
In addition to reorganised office spaces for the city’s strongly growing business sector, the rearranged retail and F&B elements will cater for tourists visiting Poznań by offering a relaxing and intimate atmosphere.
The building, ideally located for business and tourism visitors near Old Town Square, is one of the most easily recognised in the heart of the city.
Construction is scheduled to complete in 2022.
Chapman Taylor Director Rafał Giersz says of the project: “Our many years of experience in designing similar facilities, both for the Polish and international markets, will help ensure that Kupiec Poznański will thrive for many years to come.”.
