Castle Park View on track for completion in Bristol city centre next year

Having been under construction in Bristol city centre for just over two years, the landmark, 26-storey residential tower, Castle Park View, is on track for completion in 2022.

The 29,900m2 regeneration scheme will provide high-quality one, two and three-bedroom homes on the site of a former ambulance station. Once complete, the scheme will deliver 375 crucially needed homes to Bristol city centre, with 75 of these being affordable apartments.

Steady progress continues on all five blocks, the development having topped out in November 2020. The tower’s external envelope is also now complete, enabling the six-metre castellations to be installed over the next month.

All remaining blocks are now weathertight and due to commence brickwork and rendering. The Bristol City Council District Heating Network is now supplying heat to the project, allowing the apartments to enter the final finishes phase so that the first homes can complete in late April 2021.

Designed by Chapman Taylor, the high-quality housing scheme is being delivered in collaboration with M&G Real Estate, Homes England, Bristol City Council and Abri Group (formerly Yarlington Housing Group).

Congratulations to the site team and the wider project team on achieving such excellent progress with a truly collaborative approach.
