On October 25th 2024, Chapman Taylor attended the grand opening of One Bangkok, a monumental urban development project in the heart of Thailand’s capital. The event celebrated the largest private sector development in Thailand—a visionary collaboration between TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd and Frasers Property Holdings (Thailand).

Representing Chapman Taylor at this landmark event were Director Chris Lanksbury; Associate Director, Kamran Jumayev; and Business Development Manager Antonio Aguilar. Chapman Taylor’s team took pride in witnessing the unveiling of One Bangkok’s Central Command Center, a pivotal operational hub within the development, which Chapman Taylor played a key role in designing. This facility exemplifies Chapman Taylor’s expertise in creating smart, future-ready infrastructure essential for urban developments.

The One Bangkok project spans 17 hectares of prime real estate on Rama IV Road and represents a US$3.2 billion investment. Positioned as “The Heart of Bangkok,” it offers a blend of iconic office towers, luxury hotels, high-end residential buildings, and interconnected retail spaces, all surrounded by lush green expanses. Attendees experienced the debut of key attractions, including The Parade and The Storeys retail zones, with Post 1928 set to open in the upcoming phase. Additionally, the project features Bangkok’s first Ritz-Carlton and Andaz hotels, a range of high-end residences, and vibrant arts and culture facilities.

Chapman Taylor’s involvement in One Bangkok underscores our dedication to sustainable and innovative design solutions.

Chapman Taylor was commissioned to interior design the new District Command Centre (DCC). The DCC is the nerve centre for the entire mixed-use development, providing centralised services such as lighting, mechanical and energy management, safety, and security. Operating 24/7, the DCC ensures the well-being of everyone within the district through continuous monitoring and operations support. With more than 250,000 intelligent sensors, it manages all aspects of comfort and safety.
