Chapman Taylor remodelling La Marina de Finestrat shopping centre in Alicante for its 20th anniversary year
Chapman Taylor has been appointed to comprehensively remodel the La Marina de Finestrat shopping centre in Alicante for its 20th anniversary year.
The centre requires modernisation to equip it for a rapidly changing market. The redesign will create a new kind of retail and leisure experience for people of all ages, opening the centre’s terrace up to create a relaxing leisure space with beautiful views to the Mediterranean.
The renewed centre will include a mix of leisure, restaurants, cafés, bars, entertainment and a curated market space for seasonal local produce, delivering a family day-out destination for Alicante and beyond.
Construction will take place in four phases; the first, commencing soon, will create new leisure units on a 3,400m2 roof terrace. The second phase will create a 3,100m2 F&B terrace, after which the final phases will redevelop the centre’s façade and common areas.
Why Media, the centre’s digital marketing agency, has just completed rebranding the centre and has begun the internal modernisation process, including the provision of free high-powered WiFi and interactive digital store directories.
