Chapman Taylor team to sleep rough in Bristol in support of 1625 Independent People youth homelessness charity
Seven members of Chapman Taylor’s Bristol studio will be sleeping rough on the streets of the city on Thursday 14 November to raise money for youth homelessness charity 1625 Independent People.
Jacinta Barham, Matt Andrews, Paula Berryman, Jacob Hudson, Kieran Bradley, Gerard Ellis and Jonathan Jones will be spending one night on the streets of Bristol as part of Sleep Out 2019, which aims to raise awareness of the shocking 128% rise in the numbers of homeless people in the city in recent years.
80,000 young people face homelessness in Britain each year, often due to circumstances beyond their control – these people, many psychologically still not adults, are deprived of opportunities to thrive and to pursue their talents while their peers press ahead in life.
1625 Independent People is a charity that supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It finds secure homes, teaches life skills, offers advice and helps access training and job opportunities for them.
Please sponsor our team members and help this excellent charity to level the playing field for vulnerable young people.
