Chapman Taylor to Design Ferra & CO Retail and Entertainment Park in Durres, Albania

We are pleased to announce that Chapman Taylor has been selected as the design firm for the Ferra & CO Retail and Entertainment Park project in Durres, Albania. The client, Ferra & CO, specialises in retail, leisure, and sports developments.

Situated in the vibrant city of Durres, located on the beautiful Adriatic coast of Albania just 33km west of the capital city, Tirana, the project site spans an expansive area of 220,000 square meters. The proposed Gross Leasable Area (GLA) for the retail, cinema, and food court components is 40,000 square metres.

Durres, experiencing rapid urban growth, has become the second most populous city in Albania, boasting a population of approximately 210,000 people. Positioned at the north-east border of the city, the site offers excellent visibility from both Durres and Tirana.

Albania is renowned for its breathtaking mountains, stunning seafronts, rich history, and vibrant traditional culture. The Albanian people embrace a Mediterranean lifestyle, spending a significant amount of time outdoors.
