Retail: Chapman Taylor wins 'Best Retail Architecture in the World' Award
We are very pleased to announce that Chapman Taylor’s Global Harbor Shanghai has just won the 'Best Retail Architecture in the World' Award at the International Property Awards.
Held in Dubai on the 3rd & 4th of December at The Madinat Jumeirah Hotel, the global International Property Awards is attended by senior delegates representing the very best in property development, design and architecture from across the world. The Global Award finalists are made up of the winners from a series of regional International Property Awards events that were held in Africa, Asia Pacific, Arabia, Canada, Caribbean, Central & South America, Europe, UK and USA, from which ultimately the world’s best property developments are determined by a leading panel of industry judges.
Having won the award for ‘Best Retail Architecture in Asia Pacific’ in May for Global Harbor Shanghai, the project was automatically entered into the global International Property Awards.
Chapman Taylor’s Director Chris Lanksbury commented “To have won the global International award for Best Retail Architecture in the world is very important for the whole of Chapman Taylor and in particular for the team in Shanghai and London who worked together to design the project. It is of even greater importance to our client the Yuexing group who now have global recognition for this important scheme. The global International Property Award is a world-renowned mark of excellence and this award yet again demonstrates Chapman Taylor’s leading retail design credentials and our ability to deliver commercially effective and successful buildings.”
The Award was received by Elbio Gomez, Business Development Director for the Middle East.
