Chapman Taylor’s UK studios reopening from today
After more than two months of successful remote working, Chapman Taylor’s UK studios have begun to reopen.
Our London and Bristol studios reopened today, and our Manchester studio will do so on Monday 8 June. Our Business Continuity Plan, which has served us well throughout the lockdown period, will help ensure a smooth transition from the prolonged period of remote working back to studio-based working.
The health and welfare of our staff and the wider community remain our paramount concern. We have ensured that the necessary distancing measures are in place, alongside hand sanitiser facilities, mask wearing, automatic temperature checks upon arrival and regular deep cleaning. Thorough electrostatic cleaning has been carried out in all three locations and furniture in the social and collaboration spaces have been realigned to facilitate the required distancing.
Movement within the studios and their host buildings is being regulated according to easily understood guidance to ensure that safe distancing can be maintained with minimal disruption. We will continue to provide regular updates and clear guidance to our teams based on the latest official health and travel advice.
Team members are returning to the studios on a phased and voluntary basis, beginning with Directors and other senior members of staff as well as those who find working from home quite challenging for various reasons. Anyone whose circumstances do not allow them to easily return to studio working will continue to work remotely.
Chapman Taylor employs 450 staff across 16 worldwide locations, all of whom quickly adapted to the difficult circumstances brought about by the pandemic with commitment and resilience. Most of our international studios have now returned to studio working, in whole or in part, having continued to serve clients and partners throughout the lockdown period.
Chapman Taylor’s leadership team is monitoring developments across all our worldwide locations and is meeting regularly to monitor and implement processes and protocols in response to the latest scientific evidence and advice.
