Charity: Chapman Taylor UK fundraisers trek for charity
Next month a 20 strong UK Chapman Taylor fundraisers will trek to the top of three mountains as part of the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for their two chosen children's charities War Child and Manchester's Wood Street Mission.
Teams from Manchester and London will begin their gruelling expedition ascending Ben Nevis in Scotland , then onto their second mountain, Scarfell Pike and finally finish walking to the top of Snowden, all of which they hope to complete within 24 hours.
The walkers have already been in training with a number of practice sessions across rough terrain in the UK. The charities they are raising money for are War Child, committed to supporting children who have had their lives torn apart by war and Wood Street Mission, which helps alleviate the effects of poverty on local children and their families through practical help.
The team of 20 aims to raise £2000 for each charity.
