Design unveiled for Bestech-92, Market Place in Gurugram, India

Chapman Taylor’s design for Bestech-92, Market Place – a sustainable and vibrant mixed-use development in Gurugram, India – has been unveiled.

The scheme has been designed to provide a contemporary recreational, residential and commercial space in this fast-growing financial and industrial hub.

An attractive triple-height atrium dominates the entrance area, providing a perfect meeting point for visitors. A viewing balcony houses the food court and terraced garden area, providing a perfect place to relax and watch the world go by.

A high-end retail experience, designed around three levels, can be found in the open street area. The retail spaces are located at the ground and first floors in a series of interlinked patio areas, while leisure options, including a cutting-edge cinema, can be found on the third floor.

Designed over 11 levels in the vernacular Indian architecture typical of the region, a studio apartment tower is ideally located above the retail centre.

The rooftop food court area includes a pleasant, shaded bar area – ideal for enjoying a drink after a busy day of shopping. This landscaped space makes extensive use of lush green tropical plants and foliage, helping to provide a strong sense of privacy and seclusion for relaxing visitors.
