​EXPO Business Park in Bucharest receives building permission

Chapman Taylor is pleased to report that EXPO Business Park – formerly known as Bluerose Office Park –­ in Bucharest, Romania, has received its building permit.

EXPO Business Park is located to the north-west of Bucharest city centre, with a metro station only four minutes’ walk away and a tram stop by the site. The 70,586m² development comprises three separate and self-contained office buildings set over a shared two-level basement parking structure. 

Building 1 has five floors, Building 2 has eight and Building 3 has nine. The buildings are set in a landscaped environment designed to create semi-public spaces with an attractive and relaxing atmosphere. Commercial/retail units complement the office provision. 

Chapman Taylor’s Prague studio has designed EXPO Business Park for Portland Trust and ARES Management LP, targeting a sustainability rating of BREEAM Excellent through innovative building systems and renewable energy sources.
