India’s first luxury co-living space, designed by Chapman Taylor

Chapman Taylor’s design for a luxury co-living space has been unveiled to the Hyderabad market. Hyderabad One (H1) will include deluxe rooms, a terrace lounge, seven-star bar and celebrity gym.

The 47-storey development has been given gold certification by the Indian Green Building Council and will be the world’s tallest co-living space at 160 metres. H1 will be built in the heart of Hyderabad’s financial district and has been approved by Telangana State Real Estate Regulatory Authority. The project is due to complete in 2026.

The concept of co-living is picking up pace in cities across the country, but Hyderabad One is a first for luxury branded co-living spaces. Sapna Kumar, director of Chapman Taylor in India, says of Hyderabad One, “It is very aspirational and something India hasn’t seen before.”

Bhavisya Gupta, our client and founder and managing director of Sensation Infracon Private Limited, adds, “We are largely targeting young professionals and students who migrate to Hyderabad for work or education. We hope to provide them with a safe place to stay, socialise and network. It will be a drug-free zone and the security of women residents will be our priority. We will not tolerate any discrimination and anybody looking for lodging irrespective of sex, religion or sexual orientation will be welcomed.”

41 of the 47 floors will accommodate residents – with five floors dedicated exclusively to women – while the rest will comprise of food and beverage outlets, parking, lounge areas and a gym.
