Gender disparities persist in architecture firms, with women facing challenges such as unequal pay, lack of mentorship opportunities, and limited access to leadership positions. Additionally, the patriarchal nature of the profession often reinforces stereotypes and biases that hinder the progress of women in architecture.

Initially, we endeavoured to integrate into a society dominated by men’s jobs and roles—a challenge our grandmothers faced and one that persists in many countries today. However, the next step is to acknowledge that we are not the same; we're not seeking equality, but rather equity. We don't want "help" or to be patronised. Instead, we advocate for being treated as living, evolving beings, not as machines. What we seek are opportunities, followed by trust, flexibility, and the freedom to flourish in our unique way, without fitting into predefined roles…

Mentors can offer valuable insights and support, helping women navigate the challenges they may face in the profession.
Promoting Visibility and Representation: Showcase the work of women architects and designers to highlight their contributions to the field. By increasing visibility and representation, we can challenge stereotypes and continue to inspire the next generation of female architects.
