Johnny Jiang awarded ‘Distinguished Designer of the Year’
Congratulations to Johnny Jiang, a director in our Shanghai and Beijing studios, on being awarded the ‘Distinguished Designer of the Year’ award in the 2023 Pro+ Awards. In addition, The Flow Building, Prague, received a Silver Award in the category of mixed-use architecture.
The Pro+ Awards are organised by The Architectural Society Of Shanghai China (ASSC). These awards recognise professionals and their projects that drive urban and regional economic development, embody excellent management models and innovative awareness and continuously inject vitality into cities. China has experienced rapid urbanisation, and the real estate industry has developed rapidly as a result. As the core of real estate projects, architecture can create new values for the overall cultural outlook and spiritual life of a city, as well as enhance public satisfaction.
Johnny Jiang has considerable experience in architectural design and has led many important, large-scale urban projects, including both architectural and interior design. He plays a leading role in some of the Shanghai studio’s most significant urban design projects and is now managing Chapman Taylor’s new studio in Beijing.
The Flow Building also recently won a CEE/SEE “Best of the Best Office Development” at the CIJ Hall of Fame Awards. The landmark mixed-use building is located on a prominent corner site in Wenceslas Square, which is part of the historic centre of Prague, a World Heritage Site famous for its traditional setting for demonstrations, celebrations and other public gatherings.
