Chapman Taylor will be well-represented at the conference, with Director Michael Swiszczowski participating in a panel discussion on ‘Rented Residential’s Social Impact and Leaning to Navigate Planning’. Michael Swiszczowski (BA(Hons), MArch, ADPPA, ARB, RIBA)

Michael joined Chapman Taylor in 2016 to strengthen the practice’s residential expertise. A key member of the Manchester studio’s management team, Michael has a business development remit for the residential sector across the UK business.

He has experience working on award-winning residential projects with a particular focus on build-to-rent, student accommodation and modular construction.

He is a RIBA-elected member of the Regional Council for RIBA North West.

Marcelina joined Chapman Taylor in 2007 and was promoted to Director in 2017.

Having worked initially on the successful delivery of St. David’s 2 in Cardiff, she then moved to the UK concept design team to focus on the early design stages of major projects. 

She has a love for urban environments and a keen interest in the masterplanning and design of complex mixed-use developments as catalysts for urban regeneration.

Richard joined Chapman Taylor in 2021 with a particular focus on helping to grow our residential work in the UK and to advise Chapman Taylor on flexible workspace design.

Having managed a flexible working provider business previously, merged with his extensive experience of design, he is well placed to offer a unique view on the growing BtR sector from an architectural and management perspective.

Since joining Chapman Taylor, Gerard has successfully led the Castle Park View scheme through the concept design and planning stages, securing consent for Bristol’s tallest residential building. He has particular expertise in early-stage concept and feasibility design, projects with heritage aspects and the planning stages on residential, office and mixed-use schemes. Gerard is a member of Chapman Taylor's in-house Residential, Office and Mixed-Use Sector Groups.

Anil joined Chapman Taylor in 2023 with a particular focus on helping to grow Chapman Taylor’s residential design capability in London. With over 20 years’ experience, Anil has run both new build and renovation projects in the UK and internationally in a wide range of sectors including residential, retail, healthcare, transport and education.

Anil prides himself on his attention to detail on and off site and has exceptional freehand, model-making and CAD skills.
