Latest phase of Chapman Taylor’s renovation of Bumrungrad International Hospital completed in Bangkok
Chapman Taylor’s Bangkok team has completed the latest phase of the renovation of Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok.
The renovation of the luxury private hospital’s Dental and Behavioural Clinics sees their public areas transformed with elegant, functionally efficient and wellbeing-friendly design. The interior renewal delivers more welcoming and calming environments for the 129m2 Dental Clinic, the 36m2 Behavioural Clinic, the 141m2 public corridor and the 18m2 lavatory, all on the hospital’s third floor.
The design makes use of natural materials, soft textures, rounded edges and continuous surfaces to create timeless and uncluttered spaces which put patients at their ease. To further promote wellbeing, a light, neutral colour palette and soft, diffuse light is used, helping create a sense of both relaxation and happiness. A selection of custom-made artworks along the corridors and bespoke details such as golden wall guards, skirtings and furniture instil a sense of luxury.
Bumrungrad International Hospital is considered one of the top ten healthcare tourism destinations in the world. In addition to the Dental and Behavioural Clinics, we have designed a sports clinic and rehabilitation centre, now completed, and are currently renovating other areas of the hospital.
Chapman Taylor has been working with leading names in the healthcare sector to design hospitals, clinics and wellness resorts in Asia, to which people from all over the world travel for sophisticated and luxurious care. These places offer bespoke treatments and experiences to visitors seeking the highest quality of care, the best expertise and the latest technology within relaxing and beautiful places.
