Leisure Director David Wallace to speak at the World Cinema Congress in Dubai on 25-26 February

Leisure Director David Wallace will be a VIP speaker at the World Cinema Congress, which takes place on 25-26 February 2019 in Dubai.

The event will bring together experts and key decision-makers from across the region and internationally to discuss opportunities and new approaches in movie theatre development.

David will be talking about the role of cinema developments in placemaking, expanding on ideas he discussed in his recent Insight paper on the ways in which cinema can transform a community.

He will also talk about the future direction of cinema, particularly digital and technical innovation and the use of ever-more immersive formats.
