Michael Swiszczowski to speak at Bisnow Build-to-Rent Annual Conference at London’s Wembley Stadium on 23 September
Chapman Taylor will be participating at the Bisnow Build-to-Rent Annual Conference at London’s Wembley Stadium on 23 September, where Residential Director Michael Swiszczowski will once again be among the key speakers.
The event, a key fixture on the UK Build-to-Rent sector calendar, will see industry experts talk about a range of current topics, including the repurposing of existing buildings for Build-to-Rent (or Multifamily) homes, the crucial role of community engagement in supporting the wellbeing of residents, the importance of smart technology and the expansion of the format in suburban areas.
With experience working on award-winning residential projects, Michael is helping to lead the expansion of our Build-to-Rent residential portfolio across the United Kingdom, including high-profile developments at Flax Place in Leeds and Kampus and Anchorage Gateway in Manchester. He speaks regularly at Build-to-Rent industry events, explaining why Chapman Taylor believes that the format is an important element in tackling the UK’s housing crisis as well as helping to provide the basis for a strong sense of community in towns and cities.
Michael will be expanding on some of the issues he explored in his recent Insight papers on the sector, including the excellent template that Build-to-Rent offers for post-Covid residential design and the ways in which Build-to-Rent developments must be future-proofed for future consumer behaviour.
The Build-to-Rent sector continued to thrive in 2020, despite the pandemic, with a record £3.5 billion invested in the UK Build-to-Rent sector. With institutional investors and the government very active in the sector, the Bisnow Build-to-Rent Annual Conference will gather key figures to discuss the future of the Build-to-Rent phenomenon and to swap insights gained from experience gained so far.
The all-day event, themed “Redefining the home”, takes place from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and the schedule of activities can be found here.
